The 2013 Robert Sangster Stakes is run over a distance of 1,200 metres and is open to fillies and mares.

The Robert Sangster Stakes shares its day with the Group 1 Australasian Oaks, Group 2 Queen Of The South Stakes, Group 3 DC McKay Stakes and Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes.

Yosei is set to make her return to the track for 2013 when she runs in the 2013 Robert Sangster Stakes, which is also known as the Sportingbet Classic.

The five-year-old will be having her first start since finishing 13th in the Group 1 Railway Stakes at Ascot last November.

Jockey Michelle Payne is excited to get back in the saddle aboard Yosei in the 2013 Robert Sangster Stakes.

“She’s in as good an order as she’s ever been, nearly even the best she’s ever been,” Payne said.

“I’m just really excited to see how she trials and how she comes up.

“She’s never let us down, every preparation she has come back well.

“I gallop her every week and I’ve given her a little jump-out at Caulfield and we’re really happy with how she’s going.”

Yosei has won four of her 32 race starts and has earned more than $1.2 million in prize money during her horse racing career.
