1st

A Time For Julia ($8.50)

Returning to racing in typically impressive form in 2014, A Time For Julia represents sensational value for success in the 2014 Robert Sangster Stakes at current $8.50 odds. Producing a strong turn of foot to easy win the Group 3 Bellmaine Stakes (1200m) first-up on February 8th, the Redoute’s Choice mare again sprinted well to finish just off the pace of talented mare Red Tracer in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes (1300m) on March 1st before returning to the winner’s circle in the Group 3 Roy Higgins Tribute Quality (1200m) on March 15th. Finishing a fighting fourth in her first tilt at the highest level of Australian racing in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) last time out, trainer Peter Moody is confident the Robert Sangster represents the perfect opportunity for A Time For Julia to break through for a top-level title this weekend.

2nd

Gregers ($5.50)

Securing four wins and three places from only eleven competitive race starts to date, Gregers has already received huge support from punters in the 24 hours markets first opened, how jumped all over an opening quote of more than $7 to register the classy three-year-old as clear $5.50 market mover. A consistent performer over the spring of 2013, the Commands filly won each of her opening two races and finished fifth in the Group 2 Danehill Stakes (1200m), before returning to winning form with a strong turn of foot in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) and placing an impressive third in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (1600m). Returning to racing in typically strong form this time in, Gregers will be partnered by leading jockey Craig Williams and will leave from barrier 10 in the Robert Sangster Stakes.

3rd

Miracles Of Life ($13)

Unlucky to finish second in each of her last two races, Miracles Of Life represents great value for success in this weekend’s feature at Morphettville at particularly generous $13 odds for victory, or $3.80 for a place. A standout performer over the 2013 autumn carnival as a two-year-old, the Not A Single Doubt filly claimed a perfect four wins from as many starts, including the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m). Despite being allocated the wide and awkward barrier 14 for the 2014 Robert Sangster, trainer Daniel Clarken is confident of a successful final tilt with his stable’s star before she is sold by owner Muzzaffar Yaseen in June.
