Three-year-olds Don’t Doubt Mamma and Petits Filous have both posted great results this year and remain tied on the top line of 2016 Robert Sangster Stakes betting with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au, at generous $7 quotes.

Don’t Doubt Mamma has been a strong and consistent performer for Tony McEvoy through her entire racing career so far; posting five wins and a further four minors through only twelve competitive starts.

Capping a strong 2015 campaign a close second to Mahuta in the Group 2 Sandown Guineas (1600m), the Not A Single Doubt filly resumed this time for a commanding win in the Group 3 The Vanity (1400m), in which she charged home late from the rear of the field.

Progressing to second behind Badawiya in the Group 2 Kewney Stakes (1400m) on March 12th, Don’t Doubt Mamma will carry winning form into the Robert Sangster Stakes after taking out the Listed Redelva Stakes (1100m) on April 23rd.

Petits Filous immediately stamped herself as one to watch upon debuting to racing in spring and has subsequently posted an impressive five wins through seven career starts.

Winning each of the Group 3 Quezette Stakes (1100m) and Listed Cap D’Antibes Stakes (1100m) most notably in 2015, the daughter of Street Boss resumed this time for success in the Jack Elliot Handicap (1100m) but failed to fire in the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint (1200m) last time.

Drawn ideally in barrier 9, Petits Filous has been confirmed to be partnered by Michelle Payne and will have no issue performing with only 55kgs in tow.

Interestingly figuring as the only other runner currently available at 2016 Robert Sangster Stakes odds of less-than $10, Griante ($7.50) is drawn ideally in barrier 3 and is more than worth consideration for a bet at her current quote.

Completely luckless when blocked for a run and twelfth in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) first-up on February 27th, the Good Journey mare responded in the best way possible will a maiden win at the highest level in the Group 1 The Galaxy (1100m) on March 19th.

While again blocked for a run and sixth in the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes (1200m) last time out, Griante is arguably the class horse of the Robert Sangster Stakes field and will be tough to beat with Craig Williams in the saddle.

Consistent runner I Love It ($18), Vezalay ($26) and Sabatini ($21) all represent terrific value at double-figure Robert Sangster Stakes odds.
